The Bothy
The Bothy is a cosy two bedroomed cottage situated in the grounds of Shepherds Cottage and has its own secluded patio at the back looking out over fields towards The Cheviots and Seahouses.
Just a 15 minute walk to the village and stunning Beadnell Bay, The Bothy offers everything for your perfect holiday. The light and airy lounge has a comfortable leather Chesterfield sofa and 2 chairs for you to relax, a small dining table and French doors leading out onto a covered patio area.
On the patio at the rear of the property there is a charcoal BBQ and fire pit which will keep you warm in the evening. Whatever the weather, you can enjoy the outdoors, relaxing on the rocking chair under the pergola, sipping on a glass of wine, soaking up the sunset over the Cheviots, or you can enjoy the views towards the sea while dining alfresco. The garden is secluded and secure so is perfect for little ones and pets alike.
A well equipped compact kitchen caters for your culinary needs and if you don’t feel like cooking try out one of the pubs/restaurants in the village or venture a little further afield to Seahouses or Bamburgh.

Shared bathroom with bath and walk in shower.
At the side of the Bothy there is an outdoor utility room with washer, dryer and freezer. Next to the utility there is a boards and bike shed to store all your outdoor gear after an adventurous day at the beach or exploring the Coast and Castles cycle trails.

Really nice accommodation that’s well equipped. The patio cover with rocking chair was great.
Completely secure garden for kids and dogs, with loads of space inside and out.
We hardly used the car all week, preferring to walk down to the beach through the village, which was a very pleasant stroll passing two lovely pubs and a cafe.
