The Northumberland County Show is a yearly celebration of agriculture, farming, food, and the rich culture and heritage of Northumberland. It showcases a diverse range of attractions, from livestock competitions and equestrian events to hands-on agricultural demonstrations.

Alongside these, visitors can enjoy live music, browse a variety of stalls, and take part in children’s entertainment, with plenty of food and drink available throughout the day.

The Powburn Show is the first of the annual Cheviot Sheep and Horticultural Shows.
Held on 1st August its a fun day for all the family.
Events include Sheep Classes, Flower & Vegetable classes.
Sporting competitions include Pony Jumping & Sports, a Fell Race, Cumberland Wrestling and a Terrier Race.

A great family day out, Allendale Show offers an enjoyable taste of life in the countryside. Keenly contested sheep classes are supplemented by horse events throughout the day. The dog show welcomes all breeds from across the area, supported by displays, demonstrations and attractions encompassing all aspects of agricultural and rural life.
